Latitude: 28° 41′ 46″
Longitude: 83° 29′ 43″
Trip Duration: 45/50 Days

Or KTM - Pokhara - Beni - Italian BC - Dhaulagiri BC.

The seventh highest mountain in the world is Mt. Dhaulagiri and it located in north central Nepal. Dhaulagiri (8167m.) was first climbed by the Swiss in 1960. Its name is derived from Sanskrit "dhavala means" means "White" and giri is "Mountain" The mountain was sighted by British surveyors in India in the early 1800s and was mapped by one of the secret Indian surveyors, the pundits, in 1873, but the region remained largely unknown until a Swiss aerial survey in 1949.

This highest mountain in the world is considered an interesting peak with more than six different routes. The normal climbing route is considered a reasonable climb with only short technical climbing sections and moderate avalanche danger. The South and West faces of Dhaulagiri both feature massive drops; each rises over 4000 meters from its base and each has been the site of epic climbs. The tangled topography of twisting ridges, glaciers, and ice falls is crested by a stretch of thirty miles. Several pyramid-shaped peaks rise along the main crest.

For this expedition, Himalayan Yetiland Treks provides all necessary infrastructures to assist you in your summit attempt in Dhaulagiri. We will do the necessary paperwork for expedition permit organize all accommodation before and after expedition. We organize camp facilities, transport loads, stock and set up high camps, fix ropes, provide food, high altitude food, high quality tents, porters, professional Climbing Sherpas, oxygen, satellite telephone, Wake Talkie set, as well advice and assistance as per needed during the expedition.
