Mt. Ama Dablam expedition is one of the most popular and it attracts to mountaineers to scale it once their lifetime. This is the most impressive mountain raising to 6,812m. high in Everest region. While climbing to Ama Dablam, most of climbers follow the SW ridge to summit attempt. This mountain is situated  just  south of Everest and Lhotse in the Khumbu region. It is a steep up to sky touching structure pyramid of ice with vertical walls and sharp rocky face exposed ridges. Ama Dablam forms a lasting impression on many trekkers in Nepal, as it is perhaps the most stunning mountain along the popular trekking route to Everest Base Camp. Ama Dablam expedition is probably one of the most rewarding and complete climbing trips you can make in Nepal and it offers a great opportunity to gain valuable high altitude experience before trying to scale a 8,000m. high peak expedition in Nepal.

We will do the necessary paperworks for expedition permit, organize all accommodation before and after expedition. We professionaly arrange all camp facilities, transport loads, stock and set up high camps, fix ropes, provide food, high altitude food, high quality tents, porters, professional Climbing Sherpa, oxygen, satellite telephone, radio set as well needed advice and assistance to the full.

Ama Dablam Expedition Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Free in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
Day 04: Fly to Lukla 2860m. trek to Phakding 2622m.or, Manjo. Lodge.
Day 05: Manjo-Phakding – Namche Bazaar 3440m. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 06: Acclimatization & rest day.  O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 07: Namche Bazaar – Tengboche 3867m. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 08: Tengboche – Ama Dablam Base Camp 4600m.  O/N at Camping.
Day 09-23: Climbing period for summit to Ama Dablam 
Day 24: Clean up Base Camp and back pack. O/N at Camping.
Day 25: Trekking back to Tengboche.  O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 26: Tengboche – Namche Bazaar. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 27: Namche Bazaar – Lukla then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 28: Early flight back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 29: Free in Kathmandu.
Day 30: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Expenses For Climb To Ama Dablam: The cost for Mt. Ama Dablam 6812m. Expedition will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek to ama Dablam base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the expedition. For these reasons on the same Ama Dablam expedition can vary in price quite substantially.

Service includes:   

  • All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport, trekking, expedition pick up & drop.
  • 6 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff and Liaison Officer.
  • Transportation of all food and climbing equipments to base camp and back.
  • Peak permit fee.
  • Full board basis during the trekking.
  • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs and tables at the base camp.
  • Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
  • Base camp tents for members and staff.
  • Per Person 50 KG. Equipment’s luggage / barrels allowed till to Base Camp.
  • Equipment allowance, wages and insurance for base camp staff and Liaison Officer.
