Mt. Himlung Himal is towers at the height of 7134m. and majestically situated in remote corner of Nepal and Tibet border.  Mt. Himlung Himal has opened to climb only after 1992 and since its opening many teams have been succeeded to summit on this mountain. In general two higher camps will be set up above the Base Camp to maximize the summit attept. This expedition trip begins at Syage around 9 hours drive from Kathmandu. It will take 8/9 days to reach in Base Camp 5,000m. via caravan route Besisahar - Dharapani – Koto - Narphu and Himlung Himal BC.

Himalayan Yetiland Treks provides for expedition with all necessary infrastructures to assist you in your summit attempt. We will do all the necessary officail paperwork for expedition permit, organize all accommodation before and after expedition. We organize camp facilities, transport loads, stock and set up high camps, fix ropes, provide food, high altitude food, high quality tents, porters, professional Climbing Sherpas, oxygen, satellite telephone, Wake Talkie set, advice and all the assistance as per team needed.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Officila formalities & expedition preparation
Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Syage 1120m.
Day 04: Syage trek to Tal 1680m.
Day 05: Tal trek to Danaque 2295m.
Day 06: Danaque to forest camp 2740m.
Day 07: Forest Camp to Dharamshala 3230m.
Day 08: Dharamshala to Junam Goth 3600m.
Day 09: Junam Goth to Phu Gaon 4180m.
Day 10: Rest day at Phu Gaun
Day 11: Phu Gaon to Base Camp 5000m.
Day 12: Fix – set up Base Camp
Day 13/27: climbing period Himlung Himal 7,140m.
Day 28: Packing and cleaning BC.
Day 29: Base Camp to Kiang
Day 30: Kiang to Narkhola
Day 31: Narkhola to Dharapani
Day 32: Dharapani to Jagat

Expenses For climb to Himalung Himal: The cost for Mt. Himlung Himal 7126m. expedition will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek to Himalung Himal base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your Himalung climbing trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of Climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the Gyachung Kang expedition. For these reasons on the same Mt. Himlung expedition can vary in price quite substantially.

Service includes:   

  • All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport, trekking, expedition pick up & drop.
  • 6 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff and Liaison Officer.
  • Transportation of all food and climbing equipments to base camp and back.
  • Peak permit fee.
  • Full board basis during the trekking.
  • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs and tables at the base camp.
