Mt. Kanchenjunga is rising to 8,586m. high and it is the third highest mountain in earth, which is located on south-east of Nepal and north-west of Darjeeling (India). The expedition trip begins almost 2/3 days of drive from Kathmandu to Taplejung and another possibility to shorten the route by directly flying to Taplejung or Helicopter Charter to Tseram.

The first ascent of thismountain was by British team in 1956. Since then it is became popular both trekkers and climbers. Mt. Kanchenjunga is a grand collection of shapely summits. It is unique in as much as it is buttressed north and south as well as east and west by mountains of equal hight stature. This multi topped massif comprises of four summits. The main summit, middle summit, south summit and west Summit or Yalung Kang. All of those are measuring over eight thousand meters.

Expenses For Climb Kanchenjunga: The cost for Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586m. Expedition will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek to Kanchenjunga base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of Climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the expedition. For these reasons on the same expedition in Kanchenjunga can vary in price quite substantially.
