Among the major 8000m. high mountain in the world, Mt. Manaslu is the eighth highest peak lies in 40 miles east of Annapurna and dominates the Gurkha massif. The name was changed to Manaslu, which is derived from the Sanskrit word Manasa and can be roughly translated as Mountain of the Spirit. Its long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions and it culminates in a peak that towers steeply above its surrounding landscape, which dominants feature when seen from a far. 

Gyalzen Norbu and T. Imanishi (Japanese expedition) had made the  first ascent record of this peak in 1956. Since then Mt. Manaslu expedition trip has become more popular among the climbers to make their dream come true to stand on the summit of Mt. Manaslu. Mt. Manaslu considered an interesting peak with more than a half dozen established routes on the mountain today, the south face being arguably the toughest in climbing history.

We will do the necessary paperwork for expedition permit organize all accommodation before and after expedition. We organize camp facilities, transport loads, stock and set up high camps, fix ropes, provide food, high altitude food, high quality tents, porters, professional Climbing Sherpas, oxygen, satellite telephone, Wake Talkie set, as well advice and assistance as per needed during the expedition.

Day 08: Jagat – Ukawa.
Day 09: Ukawa – Ngyak 2300m.
Day 10: Nyak – Namrung 2550m.
Day 11: Namrung – Lho/Syalla village 3190m.
Day 12: Syalla – Sama Gompa 3780m.
Day 13: Sama Gompa rest for acclimatization.

Expenses For Climb To Manaslu: The cost for Mt. Manaslu 8163m. Expedition will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek to Manaslu base camp will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van. The size of climbing team as well number of Climbing guide and porters required will also affect the total cost of the expedition. For these reasons on the same Mt. Manaslu climbing trip can vary in price quite substantially.

 

Service includes:   

  • All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport, trekking, expedition pick up & drop.
  • 5 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary A.
  • 6 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary B.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff and Liaison Officer.
  • Transportation of all food and climbing equipments to base camp and back.
