Over View:

Mount Everest is the highest point on Earth, 8,850m high. Named after Sir George Everest, the British surveyor-general of India, Everest is known in Tibet as Chomolungma and the Nepalese call it Sagarmatha. Mount Everest is located in Nepal-Tibet border. First accent is done by Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in 1953. An interesting, many climbers have claimed that they have found Yeti in Everest.
