The Nar Phu valley is one of the popular destinations for
trekkers in Nepal. Nar Phu valley trekking is opened to the tourist in 2003.
This trek takes you to the remote Nar Phu valley inhabited by Nepalese Tibetans
tribe people. This is a trek that combines high peaks and passes, glaciers,
remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks,
gompas and unique Himalayan cultures. Trekking to the standard Annapurna
circuit, the bridge leading over the Marsyangdi river to the steep portals of
the Nar/Phu valley system is easily missed, but although the entrances are
narrow and forested, the valley system above opens up to a huge expanse of high
snow-peaks, ancient villages and high altitude grazing settlements.
The trail towards rocky ridges in isolated valleys and continue trek via Kang

of the Kaligandaki in the magnificent settlement of Jomsom. Then you will be
forwarded to Pokhar by flight and drive or fly back to Kathmandu.

Expenses For The Trip: The cost for trekking in Nar Phu will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guide, assistant guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of the trek.
