The Classic Everest Trekking is not only the excitement for the climbers but it's also a dream for normal people who wants trek from Jiri to Everest to see its base camp and feel it by close distance. Beside hiking in Everest, you can view closely the Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries, Sagarmatha National Park that has become exclusive for trekkers since its opening for foreigner in 1950. The trekking in Everest region has been popular since Sir Ed. Hillary and Tenzing Norgey conquered it in May 1953.

This Everest jourjey starts from Lukla if you catch a flight from Kathmandu, otherwise Jiri, which the gateway to the Solukhumbu region is the starting point of the trek. It takes a few days to reach Junbesi, Lukla, Namche and beautiful alpine region of Solu is waiting to be watched on the way. During the trek, you may encounter amongst and alongside the regions famous inhabitants the legendary Sherpas. These hardy people have carved an existence since time immemorial from the frozen landscape. Passing through Sherpa villages, Monasteries and Alpine forest,  our next destination will be Gokyo Ri, Kallapathar. From Gokyo Ri and Kalapattar viewpoint, you can see the splendid views of Everest along with Nuptse, Lhotse and huge high mountain range. Finally the trek traces back to Lukla for flight to Kathmandu and conclude the long Everest trek.

Expenses For Trek From Jiri to Everest: The cost for the Everest journey trip will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your long Everest trek, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guide, assistant guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of the trek. For these reasons on the same Everest region trekking can vary in price quite substantially.

    * 1 Full day 4/5 hours sightseeing with professional English speaking tour guide & temple entry fees.
    * 4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu at Bed & Breakfast basis.
