The Everest Base Camp trek is one of the exiting trekking destinations in Nepal, which leads you to the most spectacular view of the top of the world, Mt. Everest. The trek to Everest has a significant value to the adventurous lover’s or for them who has a dream to see it. The Kalapathar viewpoint offers breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhtse, Mt. Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Lobuche and other many snows capped peaks.
The trek starts with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the place where all the Everest region trekking begins. The trail follows around three hours to reach Phakding, which is our first stop of the trek. Following the trek, via Dudh Koshi valley to Namche Bazar is very thrilling and spending a day with good hospitality.

From Namche we continue to Khumjung and Tyangboche monastery, the base of Sherpa culture. It is a push to Kalapathar and Everest Base Camp trek, a day's rest to Dingboche for acclimatization and some side trips. This is our last destination to Everest Base Camp from where we can snap shoot Mt. Everest and other major mountains. Finally we will back to Kathmandu flight from Lukla.

Expenses For Trek to Everest: The cost for the Everest trekking or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during Kalpathar Everest trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your Nepal trekking package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guide, assistant guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of the trek. For these reasons on the same Everest region trekking / tour can vary in price quite substantially. |
