Langtang Region Trekking
Langtang Region is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, situated in northen side of Kathmandu and just south of the Tibetan border Kerung. Out of many interesting trekking region in country, Langtang region is one of among them. This is also the area of langtang national park. There many precious plants, animals (such as wolves, lynx, fox and the elusive red panda), holy lakes, Mt. Langtang and birds are the significant part of the Himalayan environment and ecosystem. This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the middle hills.
