This trek is a part of the Annapurna circuit and perhaps the single most popular trek in Nepal, follows the Kali Gandaki Valley between the soaring peak of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Finally, it emerges to the north of the main Himalayan range, on the dry, desert like Tibetan Plateau. A several days walk beyond Jomsom, takes you the final destination, Muktinath, the holy temple. The main feature of this trek is walking through the gorge carved by the Kali Gandaki River.This trek is reputed in Nepalese as a skyline trek. On the whole trek, there is not a single day when we do not have magnificent views of different Himalayas.
This trek allows access to the high Himalayan mountais of Nepal within a reasonable timeframe and without ascending to extreme altitude. You get 2 alternatives to return to Pokhara, you can either be made by retracing your steps down the Kali Gandaki Valley or by have flight from Jomsom to Pokhara or Kathmandu.

Day – 1 Kathmandu arrival then transfer to Hotel.
Day – 2 City tour in Kathmandu Valley.
Day – 3 Kathmandu – Pokhara by Bus & transfer to Hotel.
Day – 4 Pokhara – Jomsom flight. 2713m. & trek to Kagbeni.
Day – 5 Kagbeni – Muktinath. 3800m.
Day – 6 Muktinath rest.
Day – 7 Muktinath – Jomsom. 2713m.
Day – 8 Jomsom – Tukche. 2713m.
Day – 9 Tukche – Ghansa. 2013m.
Day – 10 Ghansa – Tatopani. 1189m.
Day – 11 Tatopani - rest.
Day – 12 Tatopani – Chitre 2316m.
Day – 13 Chitre – Ghorepani 2855m.
Day – 14 Ghorepani – Poonhill. 3232m. – Tadapani.
Day – 15 Tadapani – Landrung. 1650m.

Expenses For The Trip: The cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The types of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu and during the trek will make a difference to the overall cost (Budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package trip, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guide, assistant guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of the trek.
